U.S. drivers do not stay right. Drivers in North America do not allow people to pass!
They drive all day long in the left hand lane. They often disrespect faster cars that want to pass.
They do not obey the law that says the left hand "passing lane" is to be used for passing only!

In Europe drivers always stay right. In every other civilized country besides the United States
they move over to the left hand "passing lane" only when they need to pass a slower moving vehicle.
Signal your lane change, and then pass the other vehicle quickly. As soon as
you see that you have passed the other vehicle in your center rearview mirror, you know it's safe to signal and return to the
right hand lane. Always return to the right hand lane, even if you intend to pass another vehicle
further on down the road.
To stay right and pass left is not only safe driving practice, it's also courteous, and it's the law!
North American drivers exhibit dangerous driving habits. You must:
- Always stay in the right hand "driving lane".
- Check your mirror for fast moving vehicles before passing.
- Use your turn signal before changing into the passing lane.
- Never pull into the passing lane when a faster car is approaching.
- Overtake and pass slower vehicles quickly.
- Then return to the right hand lane after passing.
